The degree is now finished and I can commit to this for 2015. I also have at least 7 Australian women on my book shelf waiting to be read this year. So watch this space!
Women writers reading list for 2014:
Amy Whitting I for Isobel. - I suspect I was too old to fully appreciate this book. I gave it to my 16 year old cousin as a Christmas present.
Helen Garner The First Stone - see my review http://nataliemuller.weebly.com/blog/on-reading-helen-garners-the-first-stone
Elizabeth Harrower The Long Prospect - one of my favourite writers and as there are only 5 books I am reading her slowly.
Marina Larsson Shattered Anzacs: living with the scars of war - An excellent book on the lives of wounded returned veterans from the First World War, perhaps a story that only a female historian could tell.
